PairVault 1.2: ready for iPhone Duo

PairVault 1.2 gets your vault ready for iPhone Duo. It’s a small update, focused on using the app across its two displays and fixing a camera preview issue when you turn or fold your phone.

Ready for iPhone Duo

PairVault now fills the screen whether iPhone Duo is folded or unfolded. You can look up a setup code on the outer display, or open the phone to browse your accessories on the larger one.

On the inner display, your accessory list and details stay at a readable width. The controls adapt to the extra space too, including the buttons for exporting or deleting selected accessories.

A fix for the camera preview

Scanning a label often means turning your phone to reach a sticker on the back or underside of an accessory. We’ve fixed an issue that could leave the camera preview sideways when you rotate your iPhone or fold iPhone Duo. The preview now follows the camera’s orientation as the phone moves.

A free update

Version 1.2 is a free update for everyone who has PairVault. It still supports iPhones running iOS 17 or later, and the camera preview fix applies to other iPhones too.

The full list of changes is on the changelog. If you missed version 1.1, that update added scanning from photos, receipts for your accessories and Dutch support.
